"Keep it simple!" was the mandate from a couple who bought a 1970's ranch style Winter get away in Key Largo, Florida. The bones of the building were good but the finishes were dated and living area, cut up into small spaces. Bergdesign renovated the building and created an open living area for seamless entertaining. Bamboo cabinetry was used at the ends of the great room to warm up the space and matching bamboo sound attenuating paneling was added as a design element and to mitigate noise reverberation due to hard surfaces.
