By way of a small addition and renovation BergDesign re-planned the inner workings of the summer residence for an artist and his family. To capitalize on views of Gardiners bay and even North light the arcchitects flipped the house's program by relocating the art studio and living spaces to the upper floor and the bedrooms to the lower floor. The artists studio may be either open to the living space or closed off for privacy by way of triple sliding barn doors. A roof access stair and deck with shade structure was created for spectacular 360 degree views.
